Entry Requirements

There are no pre-requisite requirements for this course. However, substantial work experience would be highly regarded. It is also recommended candidates complete SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management and Year 12 High School or equivalent qualification with suitable English language skills.

Work Placement (200 Hours)

Work placement forms part of this qualification and Le Rosey Hospitality Institute has strong relationship with the hospitality industry through our industry consultants and associations. Though students are responsible for organising their own work placements LRHI has been able secure a range of suitable work place host sites for our students in several commercial hospitality establishments. Students will need to complete 200 hours of work placement for the unit SITHCCC043 – Work effectively as a cook, in an approved Commercial Kitchen
